The Web site made it sound wonderful. We were able to stay on the beach. The beach was very nice and clean. The water is shallow way out into the water and there were few waves. The bathrooms were not very clean. The showers have no temperature control. The showers next to the beach were very cold and dirty. The were not very clean and most of the stall doors were broken. The showers by the the camp store were cleaner however they were very hot and again no control over temperature. The sites are extremely small. We had to be so close to the camper on our left that we could not open our basement bins. The camper to our right was so close that we could not open our main awning all of the way and the sewer for our neighbors was under our picnic table. The laundry facilities were too small and there was always a line waiting for a washer or dryer. I gave the this park a five because the beach and pool were nice. Most users of this park are seasonal so I found the other campers less friendly than I am accustomed. If they made their sites bigger and fixed up the bathrooms I would come back but as of now, I would not!

This is a nice quiet park with big sites. Many of the sites are pull throughs. The staff was friendly. The free Wi-Fi was great as well. Tuc in the Woods is minutes away from Paris Island. They even gave us directions to the Marine base. If you have a new Marine at Paris Island, this is definitely the place to stay.

This is one of our favorite parks. The views on the water are spectacular. It is a State Park so the facitlies are not as nice as some of the RV resorts that we have stayed in. However the sites are large. There is a boat launch and a marina. The last time I kept my boat in a slip there it only cost $7 per night. Word is getting out about this park and it is getting harder and harder to get water-front sites. Over all one of my favorite parks.
